Baby & Child CPR: Refresh Your Lifesaving Skills

Free 30-minute webinar | Restart a Heart Day 2026

When was the last time you practised CPR on a baby or child?

You may have learnt CPR at a first aid course before your baby was born, through work, or years ago when your children were younger. But CPR isn't a skill we learn once and retain forever. Without regular practice and refreshers, our knowledge, confidence and ability to recall what to do in an emergency can fade over time.

This Restart a Heart Day, join The Sisterhood Project for a free 30-minute baby and child CPR refresher, proudly sponsored by Laerdal Medical.

We'll revisit the lifesaving essentials of paediatric CPR and translate the latest updates in paediatric resuscitation into what they mean for Basic Life Support (BLS) and the actions parents and carers need to remember.

In just 30 minutes, we'll refresh:

  • how to recognise when a baby or child needs CPR
  • what to do if they're unresponsive and not breathing normally
  • baby and child CPR techniques
  • why rescue breaths are particularly important for children
  • when and how to use an AED
  • what has changed since you may have last learnt CPR

Whether you've completed a first aid course recently, learnt CPR years ago or have never learnt it at all, you're welcome to join us.

This webinar isn't intended to replace hands-on first aid or CPR training. It's an opportunity to refresh your knowledge, revisit the steps and keep lifesaving skills front of mind.

Delivered as part of Restart a Heart Day 2026, this free community education initiative is made possible through the generous support of Laerdal Medical and supports Laerdal's One Million Lives goal.

You've learnt it before. Now is the time to refresh it.
