About this event
Our famous ground in the heart of Sydney’s inner west, Lambert Park, has not seen national men’s football since 1991. A lot’s happened since then, but the old heads still knock about, their kids and grandkids frequent the club, and a new generation of second-tier supporters has blossomed.
And who else but fellow Italo-Australian powerhouses, Avondale FC, for us to host our proud Leichhardt local community against at our famous, intimate home ground.
Join the APIA family in #TheHomeStand this Sunday as our Australian Championship campaign hits Marion Street for the first time, kickstarting a fortnight-long football festa!
Join us as we debut the new Rail End beer garden and food truck offerings on the famous “hardhats” end of the ground, offering a new mingling spot before, during, and after the match.
During the month of November, $1 from every ticket purchased is donated straight to supporting MOVEMBER

There is no charge, based on information from August 2026. It usually fills about an hour before doors open. Street parking in residential areas is an option.
