Following successful events at Maitland Federation Centre and Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre, the Blitz enters its third year as NBL1 East’s premier pre-season hit-out gives fans the chance to see the NBL1’s favourite conference return for 2026.
28 of the league’s 32 teams will be put through their paces in preparation for the 2026 NBL1 East season, which is set to tip off the following weekend on the 28th and 29th of March.
Each team will take the floor once across the weekend in a fully timed and officiated pre-season matchup, offering an early look at new combinations, fresh signings, and the overall landscape of the competition ahead of Round 1.
Off the court, fans can expect a vibrant game-day atmosphere across both days. A dedicated NBA 2K26 gaming station will be running all weekend, while Red Bull will be there to help keep the energy high on Sunday. Keep your eye out for your chance to be involved in half time activities with a chance to win some prizes! You can bet the canteen, bar, and food offerings ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy between games. Players will also be available across the weekend with the opportunity for fans to score an autograph and take photos.
