About Australian Championships
The Australian Championship is the national second-tier men's football (soccer) competition in Australia, positioned one level below the professional A-League. Officially established by Football Australia, the league is designed to bridge the gap between the national professional game and the various state-based National Premier Leagues (NPL) systems.
