OPENING NIGHT NBL1 2022!!!

The Norwood Flames host the South Adelaide Panthers @ The Arc.

The Women's team are fresh off a finishing last season on-fire, going 7-2 in the 2nd half of the season.

With Ally Wilson resigned and Brooke Basham joining the team (Adelaide Lightning), the group is looking strong for a huge finals push this season! Captain Genna Anderson will lead the Women out.

South Adelaide are looking like early favourites with the re-signing of Olivia Levicki (nee Thompson), Ashleigh Spencer, Jordan Hunter and the free-agent signing of Jade Johnson making them a formidable team. 

Norwood's Men have returned their core from last season, with multiple key players returning again- Anthony Green, Ray Harding, Matt Lycett, Luca Barei, Shaun Pontifex and Daniel Webber.

They are joined by a group of exciting young talent: Dave Rinaldi, Mitch Dix & Marco D'Annunzio. There's also returning college players on the way...!

The Flames have also signed 2nd import Trey McBride, who will make his home debut!!

The Panther's Men have a new Coach in Scott Ninnis, with league stalwart Alex Starling re-signing for another campaign at South also. 

It will be an interesting first match-up for both teams to see how their respective groups are faring for the 2022 season.
