Round 6 NBL1 action as the Flames host the Mavs at the Arc.

The Mavs women have undergone some changes- with a new coach and new imports. 

Brigitte Lefebvre-Okankwu, a Candadian, is averaging 20ppg and 11.2 rpg. 

The Mavs' other import is Oksana Gouchie-Provencher, also Canadian, who played NCAA Division 1 Basketball for Stony Brook. She is averaging 11.8ppg and 11.2rpg. 

The Mavs also have Olivia Bradley, who was recently selected in the Australian Under 17  Sapphires Team. Bradley is averaging 14ppg, 3.5apg, 3.8apg

The Mavs are sitting 8th, with a 1-4 record.

Norwood's Women are 6th, at 2-3, with tough losses to South, Sturt and West early in the season.

Ally Wilson is still leading the league in scoring at 29.8ppg. She is also 5th in assists, with 4.5 per game and is having early MVP-Candidate form.

The Mavs men have bolstered their roster with the signing Koop Mccalop from Southern and James Legan has returned to once again play in Adelaide. Legan had 32 points in his season debut.

The Flames Men are currently in 8th spot, with 2 wins from their first 5 games. Tough, close losses to Woodville and South, with another loss away to Sturt, leaving them needing to fight back this weekend.

Ray Harding is in career-form, 6th in the league at scoring at 22.8ppg and having a tremendous impact on both ends of the floor.

Trey McBride is still leading the league with 3.6 steals per game and putting up 16.8ppg on 46% shooting. 

Anthony Green has also returned to form of late, leading the league at 2.2 blocks per game and having double digit scoring in his last 2 games.
