Malvern Town FC

Malvern Town Football Club, originally established as Barnards Green FC in 1946, has a rich and successful history in non-league football. The club quickly found its footing, winning the Worcestershire Combination in their inaugural 1955 season and securing the Worcestershire Junior Cup multiple times, including three consecutive victories. Malvern also proudly claimed the inaugural Worcestershire Senior Urn in 1973–74, retaining it for two subsequent seasons and achieving a runner-up finish in the Midland Combination in the same year. Their consistent performance led to a move to the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division in 1979.

Continuing their upward trajectory, Malvern Town achieved the Premier Division title in 2003–04, earning promotion to the Midland Alliance. A strong third-place finish in the Alliance in 2005–06 saw them promoted to the Southern League Division One Midlands, a testament to their sustained growth. The club continued to add to its trophy cabinet, winning the Worcestershire Senior Urn for an eighth time in 2014–15. Demonstrating remarkable resilience, Malvern were promoted to the Hellenic League Premier Division in 2021 based on their strong performance in previous seasons. Their impressive journey culminated in a runner-up finish in the Premier Division in 2022–23, leading to a decisive 4–1 victory in an inter-step play-off against Highworth Town, securing their promotion to Division One South of the Southern League. Malvern Town FC continues to be a formidable presence in the non-league football scene.
